Pricing & payout structure

Whatsup is free to join and free to use. There is no monthly subscription for creators or fans. The only charges on the platform are:

90% creator payout
  • 85% baseline creator share on every coin-gated unlock and tip.
  • Up to 90% for founding + high-volume creators.
  • 5% perpetual referral bonus for creators who recruit other creators.
  • ~10% Whatsup platform fee covers Stripe processing, hosting, moderation.
Coin pricing
  • Fans buy virtual coins in fixed packs via Stripe.
  • Coins are non-transferable, non-refundable virtual credits.
  • Payouts to creators are batched and settled weekly via Stripe Connect (ACH / bank transfer).
  • All transactions are logged in a transparent per-user coin ledger.

Refunds, cancellations & support

Refund policy

Coin purchases are non-refundable once credited, except in cases of verified fraud, duplicate charges, or platform error. Unauthorised charges reported within 30 days are investigated and refunded in full when confirmed. Contact support to file a claim.

Cancellation

Whatsup does not require a subscription. Optional VIP passes can be cancelled at any time from Settings → Monetization → Manage subscription; access remains until the end of the current billing period, no proration.
